Father Bradley Wirth’s Return From the Holyland

All Saints Episcopal Church parish well-wishers greet the return of their Rector from his ten day Holy Land Pilgrimage. The Rev. Canon Bradley S.Wirth is greeted by All Saints member, and the Montana Grand Commander of Knights Templar, Phil Blaisdell.

The annual pilgrimage is sponsored by the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar headquartered in Houston, Texas and the local state Commandery.

From the humble beginning in 1977 through February 2006 a total of 1,569 Christian Ministers, nation wide, have been sent to the Holy Land as guests of the Knights Templar.

The Knight Templar Holy Land Pilgrimage is a strenuous educational and spiritual study seminar and historical immersion experience. The Templars, an appendant Masonic body, seek to send ordained Christian ministers, who would not have the opportunity to go to the Holy Land otherwise.

Glad to return home, and to his parish, Father Bradley said “It was an extraordinary experience to see places which have been the venues for events that have changed the world from the perspective of three great religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. As a Christian, to be on ground walked upon by Jesus was life changing and undoubtedly will enrich and inform my ministry immensely. It was a dream come true to be a part of this pilgrimage and I am grateful to the Knights Templar.”

New Pictorial Directory

A new Pictorial Directory is coming our way… It is time for a new revised Pictorial Directory. This early notice is to ask you to reserve Tuesday, May 12th or Wednesday, May 13th, 2009 to have your picture taken. Much more information will come our way in the coming weeks, but it is essential to have as many as possible sign up hence the early warning. Having your picture taken will ensure that you get a free directory. You will have the opportunity to purchase a portrait or set of pictures if you would like, but there is no obligation to purchase. Olan Mills Church Directories will be producing the directory. They did the last directory for both St. Matthew’s and Holy Nativity.
