Every Thursday Following Noon ServiceEvery Thursday, following the Noon Holy Eucharist, join us in reading together, Israel’s Sacred Songs by the Reverend Dr. Harvey H. Guthrie, Jr. This is a wonderful book about the Psalms and will give the reader a new and rich understanding of this beloved part of the bible. Dr. Guthrie was one of our Interim Rector’s professors while he was in seminary, serving as the Dean and Professor of Old Testament for the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. If you would like to be part of the study, bring a brown bag lunch and let the church office know that you would like one of the books. We normally begin reading around 1:00 p.m. and are done by 2:00.
